Kwadleigh used to be a Hogwarts-like school. It had four houses: Blue Unicorn, Golden Phoenix, Red Vampire, and Silver Dragon.
Prof. Aylin Chateaunoir was the Headmistress of the School and the Head of Silver Dragon. Prof. Melody Riddle was the Head of Red Vampire and Prof. Armis Evil was the Head of Golden Phoenix. The Head of Blue Unicorn constantly changed and they did not have a stable person hanging around.
It was more or less a peaceful school. After a certain period of time, Prof. Armis Evil and some other teachers became unpleased with the performance of the students. As a result, Armis and his gang of teachers set their eyes on certain students that should be "terminated". So, Armis spent a whole lot of time setting traps for these students, yet he was never discovered as being responsible for their disappearances.
There was also a lot of controversy as to whether the Headmistress Prof. Chateaunoir knew about what Armis was doing and as to whether she approved it, ignored it, or even helped it. Though never being officially proven, it was obvious that the Headmistress had also gone through some psycological changes since the early days of school.
Nevertheless, all through these happenings, the school operated quite efficiently. That is, until things got out of hand when, one day, Armis openly declared that he would form a fifth house and gather students to learn the dark arts properly. While Armis never openly said that he was working for the Dark Side, his words implied that the students needed to learn to be tougher and learn more about the dark ways.
Armis was met with great resistance from most other teachers and the students, and therefore it was never understood whether Armis was trying to do something to make the students more powerful or was just trying to lure them to the Dark Side. But the fact that he actually hit one of the teachers on the head made us think it was the latter.
Upon the great resistance, Armis ran away and hid in a special flying vehicle which hovered a few miles off the Castle.
While Armis was gone, the remaining teachers and the students prepared themselves for a new and exciting semester. However, upon running out of food and water in his hiding place, Armis had gone crazy. He came back to the Castle and used a very powerful spell, of which the consequences we are still not totally aware of.
However, as a result of this spell, we do know that communication between the castle and the Ministry of Magic was shut down for a year. No one could approach the castle until recently. The Ministry of Magic recently sent an investigation team headed by Armeni Zhukov to investigate the full long-term effects of the spell. It has been observed that many professors and students have either disappeared or left the castle at some time in the last year. A new headmistress and new professors have been appointed and a new semester has begun.
